12 Reviews"Bought the 440 after my old handheld scanner finally gave up the ghost. For the price, you honestly can't beat it. The setup was pretty straightforward on my Android phone and it cleared the check engine light on my 2015 Camry without any hiccups. It doesn't have the crazy live data stuff like the $300 Snap-on tools but for a weekend DIYer like me its perfect. Highly recommend if you just want to know why your dash is lit up like a christmas tree."
"Works great and didn't break the bank! Saved me a trip to the mechanic."
"It’s okay I guess. Took a few tries to get the bluetooth to actually pair with my iPhone but once it connected it worked fine. The app feels a bit dated, idk, it does what it says but don't expect anything fancy."
"tbh i was skeptical because its so cheap but the blcktec 440 is legit. picked up a misfire code in seconds. way better than those super cheap generic ones from amazon."
"A solid investment for general car"
"Super easy to set up! Saved me a trip to the mechanic already just by clearing a gas cap light. Definitely worth the $$."

The Bluetooth sync was seamless on my iPhone and the live data stream is actually pretty responsive for a budget device. Great for checking why the CEL is on before heading to the shop."
"idk much about cars but this was easy to use. found out my O2 sensor was bad and saved a lot of money fixing it myself. its small too so i just keep it in my glovebox."
"I tried a cheaper no-name brand from Amazon before this and it was garbage. The 440 is much more stable. The app interface is clean and doesn't crash every five minutes. Solid buy for any DIYer."
"Exactly what I needed for basic maintenance. Setup took less than 5 mins."
"Honestly way better than expected. Connected right away to my 2018 F150. Love that I can see real time stats on my phone while driving."
"It’s okay. It does what it says it will do, but the "advanced" features are pretty limited compared to what I expected. The app is a bit clunky sometimes and it struggles with my older 2005 sedan occasionally. Good for the price point, but don't expect a"
