"I've used cheaper screws in the past and always regretted it when the heads start snapping or the finish wears off after one season. These Starborn ones are legit—the epoxy coating is thick and they drive into pressure treated wood like butter. Yeah, you're paying a premium up front, but the bulk box actually saves you money if you're doing a full deck build like I just finished."
"Bought these for laps at the local Y and honeslty they're great. I was worried they'd feel cheap since they're only $25 but the fabric is actually pretty thick and stays in place. The quick-dry thing is no joke—I can drive home in them without soaking my car seat. Only thing is the sizing runs a bit"
"Honestly disappointed. It ruined one of my watercolor pieces because it soaked into the paper and wouldnt come off without tearing. Maybe it works better on plastic or primed surfaces but for fine art paper its a nightmare."
"Solid purchase for the price point. The 30x40 size is perfect for over a dresser, and it's a bit heavy so make sure you have someone to help you hang it, but the frame feels sturdy enough."
"Decent enough for basic use. The foam is a bit thinner than the more expensive brands like Shure, so don't expect it to block out heavy wind if you're recording outside. However, for an indoor studio or just keeping spit off your mics, it does the job. They come vacuum sealed so they look super flat at first but they puff up after a while."
