"solid plate. easy to clean and works exactly like it says."
"I purchased this for a mixed media class. The 5x7 size is perfect for card making and isn't too bulky to store. It holds texture well when using stencils or bubble wrap. Much better than the homemade gelatin plates I used to make which always rotted after a week. Good value."
"Tbh i tried a cheaper knockoff brand before this and it was way too sticky. This Gelli Arts plate is much higher quality. The paint transfers smoothly and i dont feel like im gonna rip it when i pull the paper off. worth the extra few bucks for sure."
"so relaxing to play with after work. love it."
"As a professional artist, I was skeptical about these "gel" plates compared to traditional press work, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The 5x7 is a great portable size for demos. It picks up incredibly fine detail from organic materials like leaves. Pros: durable, easy cleanup with just baby wipes, and consistent results. Cons: the plastic packaging it comes in is a bit flimsy for long-term storage, so you might want to keep the clamshell it ships in."
"It’s okay. I thought it would be a bit bigger (my fault for not checking measurements lol) but it’s fine for small projects. It works well but it’s kind of a mess to clean up if you don’t have a lot of space. Probably won't use it as much as I thought I would."
"works fine but honestly $25-30 for a piece of silicone feels a bit steep."
"I'm still learning how to use it properly. Sometimes the paint dries too fast on the plate and nothing comes off on the paper. I think I need a different kind of paint? It's fun to experiment but also kind of frustrating when it doesn't work right."
"Disappointed because mine arrived with a small bubble in the middle of the plate. It leaves a weird blank spot on every single print I make. For this price I expected better quality control. Sending it back for a refund."
"I finally caved and bought the 5x7 Gelli plate after seeing so many videos on tiktok. Honestly worth every penny! It's super squishy and picks up every tiny detail from my stencils. I used to try making my own gelatin plates at home but they mold so fast and smell gross, this is way better since it's reusable. Only thing is"
